Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 26, 1987, page 7 Esther May Shelby, 86, of Circle City, died Feb. 19 in Circle City. She was born Jan. 21, 1901 in Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Ray, of Circle City and Barbara Cooke, of Ceritos, Calif.; two sons Richard E. Ray, of San Jose, Calif. and Robert Shelby, of Markleeville, Calif. and two granddaughters, Kristen Smith, of Circle City and Cheryl Bernhausen, of Hong Kong. Memorial services will be in California early in March. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Fremont, Calif. Arrangements are being made by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
