Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 12, 1987, page 17 Ray William Kreie, 86, of Congress, died March 5 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born Jan. 19, 1901, in Sylvia, Kan. He has been a resident of Congress for 18 years. He is survived by his wife, Inez F. Kreie, of Congress; three sons, Jack Kreie, of Fayetteville, Ark., Dick Kreie, of Ulysses, Kan. and Donald Glenn Kreie, of Goodyear; three daughters, Jonna Rae Vreeland, of Midway City, Calif., Wanda Precourt of Norton, Mass. And Karen Fanning, of Attleboro, Mass.; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Kreie was a member of the Methodist Church. He was married Jan. 9, 1937, to his wife, Inez. Memorial services were March 9 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home, Pastor Bob Harrison officiating. Arrangements were made by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
