Fritz C. Hyde, Jr., of Wickenburg, died March 23, at Boswell Memorial Hospital, Sun City.
He was born in 1911 in Greenwich, Conn.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Kenneth C. Brownell, of Greenwich, Conn.; three sons and their wives, Fritz C. Hyde, III, and Martha, of Omaha, Neb.; Andrew C. Hyde and Theresa, of New York City and Lawrence D. Hyde and Molly, of Wickenburg and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cornwall Hyde.
Hyde spent his early life in Greenwich, Conn. During his career he resided in Katonah, N.Y.; Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; Hillsborough, Calif. and Greenwich, Conn. After graduation, Hyde was employed by the Chase National Bank until joining Revere Copper and Brass, Inc. During his career with Revere he served as Division Sales Manager, Manager of N.Y. District Sales, Vice President General Sales Manager, President and Vice Chairman of the board. He also was a director of the corporation for over ten years.
Among his many other interest, Hyde was on the board of directors of the First Women’s Bank of New York City and was a member of the National Copper Development Association.
Hyde was a member of the Greenwich Country Club, of which he was president for several years, the Burlingame Country Club, The Yale Club and the Los Caballeros Golf Club.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. March 31, at the Christ Church Memorial Garden, Greenwich, Conn.
