ROBINSON, James J. (Red)

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona April 2, 1987, page 9 James “Red” J. Robinson, 74, of Slaton, Texas, died March 3, at his residence. He was born in 1913 in Clifton, Texas. Formerly of Wittmann, Robinson has resided in Slaton since 1974. He is survived by his wife, Mary Robinson; two daughters, Anneta Wright, of Amarillo, Texas and Connie Rose, of Wittmann; four sisters, Alice Andress, of Hakell, Texas, Billie White, of Wittmann, Florence Alexander and Pearlie Alexander, both of Weinert, Texas and two grandchildren. Robinson was a member of the Faith Christian Church, southland, Texas. He was a veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion Luther Powers Post No. 438. Services were March 6 at the Englunds Chapel, Southland, Texas, Pastor Bill Jernigan officiating. Arrangements were made by Englunds Funeral Service.
