Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 4 1987, page 2 Funeral Mass for Lawrence P. Kirchoff, 83, of Wickenburg was held Friday, May 29 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Wickenburg. Private cremation followed, conducted by the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Mr. Kirchoff, died May 24 in the Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born Sept. 18, 1903 in Tracy, Minnesota. He had lived in Arizona for the past 15 years until his death. Mr. Kirchoff was active in the Boy Scouts, serving as a scoutmaster for many years. He was a member of the Lions Club in Lemmon, S.D., and an active member of the game conservation committee in the community. He was an active sportsman, and was listed in the Who’s Who in South Dakota. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus in Lemmon, and served 23 years in the town’s volunteer fire department. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; a son, Larry Kirchoff of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a daughter Mary Lou Currens of Gering, Neb.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is additionally survived by three sisters and three brothers, all who reside out of state.
