Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 4 1987, page 2 Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, June 3 at the Congress Cemetery for Jesse Daniel Roeder, who died last week at his home in Wickenburg. Rev. Dave Robinson officiated. Mr. Roeder, 81, had lived in Arizona for 67 years, moving to Phoenix while still a boy. He was born Nov. 22, 1905 in Hagerman, N.M. He had been a civil engineer for the State of Arizona, and had surveyed many sections of the state, including the Grand Canyon. He is survived by a niece, Joy Lumpton, of Baltimore, Md. Contributions may be made to the Wickenburg Police Department “Cops Who Care” fund.
