Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 25, 1987, page 2 A memorial service for James Ernest McGee, 81, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29 at the First Baptist Church of Congress. The Rev. Doug Crowder will officiate. Private cremation will follow at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Mr. McGee died June 15 in the Wickenburg Funeral Home. (Probably in the Wickenburg Community Hospital) McGee was a longtime caretaker at the Vulture Mine and the K.L. Bar Ranch in Wickenburg. He was born Jan. 5, 1906 in Newton, N.C., and came to Arizona in 1954. Survivors include his wife, Alpha McGee, stepdaughter, Betty Jane Green of Congress; two stepsons, James Gatz of Glendale and Robert Gatz of Coco, Fla.; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
