Graveside services for Floyd L. Moody, 67, of Aguila were held July 8 at the Eagle Eye Memorial Cemetery in Aguila. Rev. Delbert Henderson officiated.
Mr. Moody died July 5 in Wickenburg Community Hospital.
He was born Jan. 25, 1920 and had lived in Arizona for the past 36 years.
He was a staff sergeant with the U.S. Army's 509th Parachute Battalion during World War II, and was the recipient of a number of decorations, including the Bronze Star.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Mae Moody, of Aguila; two daughter, Naomi Chessmore of Reedley, Calif., and Edie Jessup of Maine; three sisters, Gladys Renfro of Wynnwood, Okla., Anna Lee Robertson of Orland, Calif., and Vera Rommaz of Visalia, Calif.; four brothers, Bob Moody of Merced, Calif. and Marvin Moody, Harold Moody and Lenny Moody, all of Visalia; and three grandchildren.
