Bruce McQueen officiated. Private cremation followed. Mr. Groff died July 11 at Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1903 in Columbus, Ohio. He was a 60 year member of the Ancient Scottish Rite of Ohio; a 50 year member of the Masons Organization that included Mt. Vernon Commandery No. 1 of Ohio, the Grand Lodge of F.& A.M. of Ohio No. 30, Columbus Council No. 8 royal and Select Masons of Ohio, and the Royal Arch Masons Ohio Chapter No. 12; a member of the Easter Star of Wickenburg; the Wickenburg Shrine Club; the El Zaribah Temple of Phoenix; the Oasis Chapter No. 15 R.A.M. of Wickenburg; the Guild Opticians and a past president of the Great Pittsburg Guild; and the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. Survivors include his wife, Emma M. Groff of Wickenburg; and two sons, David Groff of Alma, Mich., and Charles Groff of Los Angeles.
