Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 30, 1987, page 2 Memorial services for Oscar Harold Layman were conducted last Friday at St. Albans Episcopal Church in Wickenburg. Rev. Irvin S. Mitchell officiated. Interment followed in Flushing, Mich. Mr. Layman. 77, died July 21 at his home in Wickenburg. He was born Sept. 7, 1909 in Flushing, Mich., to John Arthur and Hattie Wright Layman. He married Lorraine Smith on Oct. 20, 1936. The couple lived in Flushing until his retirement in 1970, when they moved to Wickenburg where they have made their home for the past 16 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughter, Mary Layman, Sarah Thomas and Joan McLean; one sister, Mrs. Carl (Edna) Hansen; and two grandchildren.
