Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 30, 1987, page 2 Memorial services were held last week at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Johnson County, Kan., for Gary R. Smith. Mr. Smith, 49, died July 24 at Humana Hospital in Overland Park, Kan. He was well-known in the Wickenburg area, and was a member of the St. Albans Episcopal Church. He was born May 17, 1938 in Kansas City, Mo., to Roy R. and Jay M. Smith of Wickenburg, who survive him. Smith was a resident of Bucyrus, Kan., at the time of his death. He owned the Smith RPM corp. of Overland Park. He was a 1962 graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia, and a member of Alpha Tau Omega and the Saddle and Sirloin Club of Kansas City. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Victoria Fast Smith, a son, Matthew H. Smith, and a daughter, Bedonna Smith, all of Bucyrus; and a brother, Courtney Smith, of Dallas, Texas. The family suggests condolences only, or contributions to the Cancer Society or St. Francis Home for Boys, Salina, Kan.
