Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 6, 1987, page 2 Graveside services for former Wickenburg resident Jim (Jimmy) Seagoe, 43, were conducted Wednesday, Aug. 5 at the Wickenburg Cemetery. According to reports from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Seagoe was murdered July 30 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. A member of the sheriff’s department narcotics division said Idaho authorities have several suspects in custody in what is believed to have been a drug-related crime. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Seagoe, stepfather, B.D. Jones, mother, Myra Jones, and a daughter Dana. He was a longtime resident of Wickenburg, graduating from Wickenburg High School in 1962, where he participated in a number of social and athletic activities. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly, Lori and Lisa Seagoe of Wickenburg; three sisters, Gloria Grubb Jepsen of Wickenburg, Gayle Davis of Black Canyon City and Cathy Sanders of Venon; an uncle, Leonard Hickey of Bythe, Calif.; a grandmother, Alva Seagoe of Riverside, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
