Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 13, 1987, page 2 Memorial services for William Harold “Bill” Wright of Yarnell were conducted Friday at the Worldwide Church of God in Prescott Valley, The Rev. Walter Neufeld officiated. Mr. Wright, 71, died of apparent exposure, said investigating authorities. His body was found Aug. 3 in the Harquahala Mountains south of Wenden by a Yavapai County Sherriff’s Department search party. He had been reported missing after leaving his home July 22 to check on some mine claims near Quartzite. A spokesman said Wright’s abandoned pick up was spotted from the air, leading searchers to his body. Wright was born April 2, 1916 in Liberty and was a lifelong resident of Arizona. He was self-employed in the Yarnell-Wickenburg area. Survivors include his wife, Ouita; a son, Corbin Wright of Glendale, two daughters, Jeanne Wright and Elaine Werner, both of California; and five brothers and five sisters. All arrangements were by the Sutton Mortuary in Kingman.
