Norman John Gernert passed away Dec. 14, 2010, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 62. He was born to Edward and Beulah (Chapman) Gernert Aug. 22, 1948, in Redlands, Calif.
 
Norman proudly served under the direction of the U.S. Navy from February 1968 to September 1969. He married Catherine Magee on Nov. 29, 2003. He was a self-employed cabinet builder for 35 years and owned and operated Norm’s Cabinetry in Lake Havasu City.  

Norm loved to cook and entertain and loved the “spotlight.” He was always ready with a joke and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

Norm leaves behind his beloved wife of seven years, Catherine; sons, James, Edward and Chris; daughter, Stacy; brothers, Paul and Jack; sister, Beverly; and seven grandchildren.
