Florence Mary (Price) Indorf, 82, of Mesa, AZ, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 in Boise, Idaho. She was born March 7, 1921 in Kenmore, Ohio, the daughter of George and Florence Helen Price. Florence graduated from Massillon, Ohio's football powerhouse Washington High School in 1939. She attended a business school and worked as an administrative assistant before marrying Charles Edward Indorf on August 5, 1944. Ed and Florence settled in Taylor, Michigan where they raised four daughters, operated Indorf Printing and managed a Michigan Secretary of State's license plate office. Florence spent many years doing volunteer work and participating in civic organizations; she is a past officer of the Taylor Lioness Club. The pair retired to sunny Mesa, Arizona in 1972. Ed passed away in 1986 and Florence continued as a member of the Church of the Master United Presbyterian Church and was the last surviving charter member of the East Valley Organ Club. Florence loved music, playing the organ, traveling, and keeping in touch with her family. She is survived by her four daughters, Cheryl (David) DeBoom of Mesa, AZ, Cindy (John) Covell of Woodstock, IL, Mary Beth (James) O'Toole and Cathy (Mark) Tuttle both of Boise, ID. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren (Christina Richards, Robert Covell, Caryn Villa, Aimee Marquardt, Laura Batcheller, Michael O'Toole, Adam Tuttle and Emily Tuttle) and five great-grandchildren (Allison, David, James, Jack and Olivia). She is survived by her sister June Egan of Massillon, OH and a brother, Dale Price of Lady Lake, FL. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward; her parents; and four brothers. Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004 at Mtn. View Memorial Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ, (480) 832-2850. Services were Monday, Jan. 19, 2004. The family will receive visitors an hour before the service.
