MERRYMAN, Thomas (Tom) Eugene, Jr.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, December 14, 2010 Thomas Eugene Merryman Jr., 83, of Prescott, entered into eternity Dec. 9, 2010. He was born on April 15, 1927, in Wellington, Kan., the son of Thomas Eugene Merryman and Lillian Ruth (McMath). Tom served our country in WWII on the U.S.S. Alabama and worked for Boeing Aircraft for 32 years, then for Hughes Helicopters/McDonnell Douglas until his retirement in 1992. Tom was a resident of Prescott, Ariz., since May 1993. Tom was predeceased by his beloved wife of 26 years, June, in 2007 and a daughter, Melanie J. Umeroglu in 1995. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Tyson Drake and B.J. Merryman; and granddaughters, Jessica Leigh and Olivia Leigh Merryman of Egg Harbor Twp., N.J.; daughter Vicki A. Merryman of Alexandria, Va.; daughter and son-in-law Robyn Merryman and Steve Sheets of Canyon Country, Calif.; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Heather N. and Matt Witham; and great grandson Kekoa Paul Hapaki Witham of Honolulu, Hawaii. Tom will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Services will be at a later date. Information provided by survivors.
