Terese "Scoot" Boggler-Warren passed away unexpectedly the morning of Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Camp Verde, Arizona.
Melissa was born to Earl and Sue Boggler on a beautiful fall morning, September 6, 1977, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.
Melissa was baptized at the Nellis Air Force Base Catholic Chapel and received her First Communion and Confirmation in the Diocese of Phoenix, Arizona.
As a military brat, she lived in several states and spent three years in Madrid, Spain when her father was stationed there.
She attended Independence High School in Glendale, Arizona and participated on the flag line.
She was a staff member at Camp Verde High School and loved the children and faculty very much. Melissa was a kind and loving individual with a great spirit who cared deeply about others.
Many who have known Melissa have given testimony to her willingness to do whatever she could to ease the suffering and pain of others. She battled bipolar disease her entire life and showed great empathy with anyone who was suffering.
Melissa's smile and laughter masked a great sadness that made life difficult and, in the end, overwhelmed her. Her greatest source of joy was her children.
She reveled in being a devoted mother and her children were her life.
Melissa was predeceased by her grandparents J.C. and Mary Alyce Carpenter and her uncle, Mark Carpenter. She is survived by her three children, sons Martin and Devin Branum and her little princess, Reagen Warren; her parents, brother Coy (Amy) Boggler, sister Mandy (Ben) Taylor, Pat (Becky) Branum, James Warren, nephews Nelson and Timothy Boggler, and her paternal grandparents Coy and Mildred Hess.
The family will accept flowers, but prefers donations to be made to any Pro-Life organization in her name.
At the ages of 15 and 17, Melissa chose life for her children, Martin and Devin, even when her own life was at risk. She firmly believed in the sacredness of the life of the unborn.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass Saturday Dec. 18, 2010, at 11 AM in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Avenue, Prescott, AZ 86301.
Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Park, Dewey, AZ.
