The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, December 18, 2010 Marlow H. Hammer, age 80, passed away on Dec. 16, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born on July 14, 1939, in Thompson, Ill., to Helmer and Elsie (Hess) Hammer. Marlow served his country in the United States Air Force and later made a career as a business owner. He owned Auto Electric Exchange and retired in November of 2009. Marlow is survived by his wife, Shirley Hammer; children Bonnie Caldwell (Lakewood, Colo.), Michael (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) and Nancy and Dan Francuz (Eagen, Minn.); grandsons Joshua, Jeremy and Matthew; stepchildren Lois (Yuma, Ariz.), Carolyn and Jim Beall of Prescott; brothers Austin and Jane Hammer and Delano and Judy Hammer; and sisters Maylene and Jack Crain and Buela Townsend. A Celebration of Life for Marlow will be on Jan. 8, 2011, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Auto Electric Exchange, 565 EZ Street, Prescott, Ariz.
