BARDELLI,
Clifford William, Sr.
3 January 1935 - 10 January 2004
Clifford William Bardelli, Sr. died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday January 10, 2004 aboard his boat "Bien Vientos" in San Diego California.
He lived life by his own rules and never missed an opportunity for adventure. Born in Los Angeles he spent most of his life in Phoenix Arizona. Racing dragsters, boats, motocross and off road vehicles were his passion. He had many adventures in Mexico, where scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and sailing became his obsessions.
Those of us he shared his life with understood and loved him for his independent nature, strong will and love of adventure. "#1" as he preferred to be called... lived life in the fast lane and ultimately fulfilled his life-long dream of living aboard his boat in San Diego for the past 17 years.
He is survived by his cats 'Ninja' & 'Azure', daughter Darla Solomon (husband Jim); Son Clifford William Bardelli, Jr. (wife Dawn) and 4 grandchildren: Krystill, Clifford, Ryan & Torrey.
He will be buried at sea on Saturday January 31, 2004 at Buoy #1 off of Point Loma. A memorial celebration will follow at the Cabrillo Isle Marina Papanani's Deli, 1450 Harbor Island Drive, San Diego.
