John A. McCondra of Black Canyon City, Ariz., died July 9 at 3:20pm at War Memorial Hospital.

Born at Wiarton, Ont. Feb 24, 1885, he was a Sault Ste Marie resident for many years before moving to Arizona in 1953.

Surviving are his wife, the former Minnie Visser; a daughter, Mrs Don (Stella) Horton of Phoenix, Ariz; a grandson, John A Horton of San Diego, Calif; a granddaughter Donna Ann Horton of Phoenix; four brothers Warry and Wesey of Sault Ste Marie, Charles of Grand Rapids and Albert of Phoenix; and two sisters Mrs Annie Ryan and Mrs Al (Isabelle) Waltz, both of Phoenix.

The body will be taken to Phoenix for services. The Hovie Funeral Home has charge of local arrangements.
