The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ May 15, 2008 Doreen White went to her heavenly home May 10, 2008, in Whiteriver. She was born Oct. 30, 1952, in Whiteriver. Doreen is survived by her daughter, Charmayne Alice James; brothers Dell White and Ardell White; sisters Florinda White, Delphina Albert and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Bert White; mother Flora Bourke White; brother Norbert Wayne White; and sister Leeanna White. Doreen's body will be brought back to her residence at 4401 Fort Apache Road in East Fork for a two-night wake Saturday, May 17, at 10 a.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 19, at noon at the Riverside Church in East Fork with Pastor Ralph Holmes officiating. Interment will be at the Manzanita Cemetery in East Fork. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
