VAN OMEN, Jay

Scottsdale - Jay VanOmen, 59, a real estate agent for Realty Executives, died May 5, 1986, at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. Mr. VanOmen, of Scottsdale, was born in Michigan and moved to Arizona 15 years ago. He graducated from the University of Michigan. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He had worked as president of Holiday Inn in Holland, Michigan, and as president of Central Farms Hatchery in Zeeland, Michigan. Survivors include his wife, Pat; daughters, Sally Jenkins and Elizabeth Dykstra; son, David; mother, Mildred; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 9 a.m. today at Messinger Mortuary & Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1445 E. Thomas, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
