4 June 1917 - 23 February 1986 Chester J. Kawa, 68, a jeweler and watch repairer for Speigel's Department Store for 35 years before retiring, died Feb. 23, 1986, at Humana Hospital Phoenix. Mr. Kawa, of Phoenix, was born in Chicago and moved to Arizona four years ago from Illinois. Survivors include his wife, Frances; daughter, Patricia; sons, Chester, Jr., and James; two sisters; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. today and services at noon Wednesday at Lundberg White Rose Chapel, 5310 W. Northern Ave.
