Ernest Larry Bigelow, 68, of Taylor died May 10, 2008, in Phoenix. Larry was born to Parley Leroy Bigelow and Ester Grace Ray Bigelow Nov. 20, 1939, in Mesa. He moved with his parents to Concho.
He graduated from high school in St. Johns. Larry was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was married to Orpha May Finch April 27, 1958, in the Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They had five sons and two daughters.
At one point, they moved to Springfield, Mo., and bought a cattle ranch. In 1990, the family moved to Page and then to Taylor in 1998.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Orpha May; and five sons, Dean (Sherri) Bigelow of Heber, Utah, Cole (Marian) Bigelow of Eagar, Kevin (Pamela) Bigelow of Linden, Saul (Kristi) Bigelow of Glendale, Heath (Merrie) Bigelow of Flagstaf; and two daughters, Robin (Eric) Hubbard of Erda, Utah, and Stefanee (Dean) Baker of Hooper, Utah. He is also survived by three siblings, Delmer, Iris and Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taylor Thursday, May 15. Interment was at Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor.
Arrangements were made by Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor.
