Kenneth L. Anthony, 64, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the Havasu Regional Medical Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Aug.6, 1945 in East Liverpool, OH.
Ken was adopted and raised by Okey and Elouise Anthony and was an Alumni of the class of 1963. He served in the Army during the Vietnam Era but fought at the Dominican Campaign during that time. Ken was a locksmith by trade, which he enjoyed doing, thus he moved back to East Liverpool in 1994 and opened his own locksmith business called “Ken's Lock and Key”. After 15 years though, both he and his wife decided to move to Arizona. He was a member of an antique truck club, Pick Ups LTD, in southern Calif. for over 20 years. He was also a member of the Calcutta Lions Club and the John W. Covert Chapter 47 in East Liverpool, OH. The family would like to thank some friends in Lake Havasu for their help: Jon and Lucille Mills, Ken and Allison Dodson, Gene and Lois Patton, also, Gary and April Holznecht of Orange, Calif.
Ken is survived by his lovely wife, Linda, his daughter, Angela and her husband, Doug Holden, Step-Daughter, Andrea and her husband, Hector Pena, two sons, Keith Bryan, and James and his wife, Miwa, his mother, Louise Anthony, sisters Bobbie, Jackie Parker and her husband Tim, Patti Bosworth and Marilyn Cooks, brother Budd and his wife, Barbara Adkins plus seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Okey Anthony, sister, Elaine (Toots) Bayer, Berniece Klipich (birth mother), niece, Shari Adkins and brother, Melvin Adkins.
There will be no services at his request. He would like his ashes to be spread out in the ocean at Huntington Beach, CA. In lieu of flowers, he is requesting that you make a donation to the Western Arizona Humane Society in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
