HIGGINS, Robert (Bob) (C-only)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, December 27, 2010 Robert "Bob" "C-only" Higgins, 82, left this earth and big boots to fill on Dec. 19, 2010. Despite polio as a child and a lifetime in braces Bob walked his path on his terms without losing the twinkle in his eye. An avid hunter, he brought many to love not only the sport but the time spent with him doing it. Bob had a heart for children, family and animals. The man never met a stranger though he occasionally raised them or brought them home to live on his property. He had a 30-year career as the owner/operator of A-A Doggie Dude Ranch in Phoenix. In 1985, he headed north to settle in Prescott, retire, raise two houses and a healthy quail population. Bob has joined his son Donny in heaven and waits patiently for many to join him. Bob is survived by Cathy, his wife and biggest fan of 34 years; his children, Patti, Nanci, Wes, Boyd, Patrice, Nathan, Jodi and Amy; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was born and died a proud Arizona native and the world is a better place having had this crusty lovable soul in it.
