Parker Pioneer, Parker Arizona - Published Friday, October 22, 2010 - Lois Lamoreaux 71 years old died peacefully at home in Bouse on Oct 5, 2010. She had been a resident of La Paz County, Arizona for over 20 year. Lois was a member of Search and Rescue, a part time matron for La Paz County jail working with her husband. She also cooked and maintained inmates at the La Paz County sub-station in Salome. Lois worked with a Wagon Train Outfit in Nevada for six years before she came to Arizona. Lois is survived by, her husband Bernie Lamoreaux of 37 years; sisters Esther House, of Tennessee: Lynn Roland, of Washington; brothers John (Sue) House, of Washington; LeRoy House, of Arizona; children, Gail Mavity, of Wyoming; Rocky (Donita) Hill, of California; Thomas (Sherry) Hill, of California; step-daughter Sandera Lamoreaux, of California; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. Her parents Lewis and Alice House, sister Mildred House and brother Claude House preceded Lois in death. One thing for sure, Lois lived a full and feisty life and will always live in our hearts.
