Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published Wednesday, October 13, 2010 - Eveline Marie Jones, 92, of Sewickley, Pa., formerly of Parker, Ariz., died Oct. 5, 2010, in Caring Heights Nursing Home in Coraopolis, Pa. She was born Aug. 30, 1918, in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and was the daughter of the late Leanide Tremblay and Magloire Potvin Trembaly. She was a retired postmaster in Vidal Junction, Calif. She was a member of the Parker Does; the VFW Ladies Auxiliary; the La Paz Regional Hospital Auxiliary (she ran the gift shop), member of the Vidal Chamber of Commerce, where she served as president from 1979 to 1982. She loved feeding birds and kayaking, late in life. Surviving are two sons, Bruce and John Butters; grandchildren, Scott Butters, Jodie Welge, Anne Fairfield, Chelsea Butters, Christopher Butters and great-grandchildren Caitlin Butters and Liam Welge. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were three husbands, Jean Butters, Bill Lemon and Wilbur "Gene" Jones. Memorial contributions in Eveline's name are suggested to the national Aviary to Adopt a Bird, Ridge Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
