Maria is remembered for her outgoing, kind-hearted, compassionate spirit. A woman of nature, Maria spent all her spare time rock collecting with her best friend and husband, John Mierzwik. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shane, Jason, Demitri, Katie and Bitsy and two great-grandchildren.
"God has taken my best friend and soul mate home to be an angel by his side. I will always miss your love and friendship. Love you always, my angel."
