BACHERT, Gunnel Brigitta (Gunny)

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, September 17, 2008 Gunnel Brigitta Bachert Gunnel Bachert, 73, passed on to a better place on Sept. 12, 2008, in Prescott, Ariz. Gunny, as she was known by most, was born on Sept. 28, 1934, in Karlshamn, Sweden. Being very proud of her Swedish heritage, she was involved in Swedish-American Clubs in Seattle, L.A. and Scandia Lodge #728 in Prescott. She was also very proud to become a U.S. citizen in 1971. Gunny is survived by her husband of 21 years, Joseph. She was a kind and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her. She was cremated at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley and her ashes will be scattered into the sea. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Family Care would be appreciated. Information provided by survivors.
