CHILDERS, Dawnelle Janet

Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published Tuesday, September 7, 2010 - In the early morning hours on Aug. 14, 2010, the angels lifted by beloved daughter to the waiting arms of our Lord. Dawnelle Janet Childers was born Dec. 4, 1974, in Galesburg, Ill. She moved to Parker in 1981 and graduated Parker High School in 1992. She worked for La Paz County Dispatch and River Medical. She also enjoyed makeup consulting-working at Dillards in Lake Havasu and for retailers in Portland, Ore. Her mother, Jeanne Hentzen, stepfather, Clyde; and brother Chris Soderquist survive Dawnelle. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Childers; and stepfather, Joseph (Pepe) Lopez. Dawnelle will be missed by her family; including her two aunts, Pat Foss and Mary (Happy Jo) Odom; her cousins, Bonnie, Kelly, Terry, Gary, Becky and Denise; her godparents, Jim and Janet Bowers, Bushnell, Ill. Others missing her include all her friends and best friend Lisa Whittier and her beloved dog and companion Chloe Belle. Mass was said at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parker, Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at 10 a.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her name at AEA Credit Union. Dawnelle passed on, not away, we will see you soon, Mom and Chloe.
