Marvin A. McBroom, born Dec. 24, 1928, in Hanna City, Ill., passed away Sept. 11, 2008, at Palm Terrace, Mattoon, Ill. 

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at Potomac Township Cemetery, Potomac, Ill. A celebration honoring Marvin’s life will follow at the Potomac United Methodist Church.
