The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, December 29, 2010 Ernestine Calhoun Ernestine Ethel Calhoun, age 99, passed away Dec. 22 in Surprise, Ariz. She was born October 11, 1911 in Gas City, Kan., to John W. Rayl and Edna Moomey Rayl. She came to Arizona in 1957 from Kansas and settled in Wickenburg. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and active in the community and volunteered at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum. She was preceded in death by husband James in 1974. Family services will be held in Pleasanton, Kan., with interment in Blue Mound Cemetery. Friends may offer online condolences at www.wickenburgfuneralhome.com.
