The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ April 3, 2008 Lueva G. Rabago died March 30, 2008, in Glendale. She was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Washington D.C. Lueva worked many years for the Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Defense, in Washington D.C. Following that she worked for GMAC in Fairfax, Va. During her years of employment, she was accomplished at shorthand. Lueva enjoyed reading, writing, crocheting, bird watching (especially hummingbirds) and gardening. She lived life everyday to the fullest. She was smart, talented, a great listener, engaging and loved sharing her interests with others. She loved people and got along with everyone. She will be terribly missed by all those who knew her. We will see her again. She is survived by her loving husband, Jesus "Ed"; brother James (Donna) Ward; sons Martin Griffin, Stan Griffin and Colin (Carole) Rabago; daughters Patricia (Les) Baber, Carmen Rabago and Alison (Mark) Wagner; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Myra, Michael, Charles and Mary Rabago. Funeral services were held privately. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Lueva's name to the VFW or hospitalized veterans. Green Acres Glendale Mortuary handled arrangements.
