PALMER, LouElla

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ April 3, 2008 LouElla Palmer of Mesa died March 31, 2008. She was born Dec. 28, 1947, to James and Wanda Byars in Phoenix. LouElla lived in Arizona all of her life, in Phoenix, Mesa and Taylor. She received her associate's degree from Northland Pioneer College. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist church and married Novis Palmer March 31, 1973, in Yuma. She loved doing crafts, painting and all outdoor activities, camping and riding quads. She also enjoyed traveling, and her favorite was spending time with her family and friends. LouElla is survived by her dear husband of 35 years, Novis Palmer of Mesa; daughter Tracy Palmer of Mesa; sister Patricia Cox and brother Thomas Byars, both of Taylor. A viewing was held Wednesday, April 2, at Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor with funeral services Thursday, April 3, at the Valley View Baptist Church, 1212 W. Main St. in Snowflake. Interment will be at Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor. Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor handled the arrangements.
