Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published Wednesday, June 30, 2010 - Nov. 4, 1946 - May 21, 2010 - Emma Lorraine (Charles) Peschke was born in Anaconda, Montana to Elmer and Alice Charles. Emma Lorraine graduated from Anaconda High School, and continued her education at Matio's cosmetology school in Helena. After graduating she stayed in Helena and became an instructor at Matio's. Later she went on to graduate from nursing school in Warm Springs, Mont. Emma continued with her nursing career at Fort Harrison VA Hospital in Helena, where she met her beloved husband and soul-mate Bill Peschke. In the 1980's Emma, Bill and their four girls left Montana to work with a seismograph company where the family traveled all over the United States making new friends everywhere they went. In 1986 the family returned to Helena for six years. Emma and the family left Montana in 1992 for Arizona. Emma fell in love with Sedona Ariz., where she worked for the Arizona Natural History Association, which was the pride and joy of all her jobs. She enjoyed helping and giving to others and making friends with people from all walks of life. She is preceded in death by her brother Bubba Charles, mother Alice Charles and father Elmer (Blackie) Charles. Emma is survived by her loving husband William (Bill) Peschke of Sedona, daughters Teresa (Gordon) Pierson of Deer Lodge Mont., Hope (Robert) Engles, of Anthem Ariz., Bylli (Robert) Esquerra, of Parker, Alice (Lanny) Conat of Lake Havasu City, seven grandchildren that she loved with all her heart, Andrew Pierson, Cody, Tyson and Bobbie Esquerra, William Conat, Michael Engles, Lanny Conat Jr. (Charity Conat) of Columbus Mont., and two great grandchildren, Gage and Elizabeth Conat. Emma will be dearly missed by all that have met and loved her.
