MASON, Willie Edna

Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published Thursday, June 3, 2010 - Willie Edna Mason passed away on May 16, 2010, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., at the age of 86. Willie was born on Oct. 27, 1923 in Fort Towson, Okla., to Charles and Crystal Thompson. Willie resided in Parker, Arizona, beginning in the early 1980's. She owned Pom Pom Poodles boarding and grooming. She worked for the Colorado River Indian Tribal Court. She also worked as a teacher's aide for some time. She dearly loved dogs, and would do anything for them. She had many beloved dogs over the years. She is survived by her sister Helen Sharp, and her best friend Jane Caswell. Willie Edna Mason is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Crystal Belle (Alexander) Thompson; and husband Tom Mason, former CRIT and Parker Police Chief.
