Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published Friday, May 21, 2010 - Ralph Dean Wilson, 83, passed away May 13, 2010, in Yuma, Ariz. He was born Aug. 5, 1926, 1926, in Pasadena, Calif. He graduated from Monrovia High School in 1944. Wilson served in the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He had is own mechanic business and is a retired machinist. He enjoyed playing cards, especially poker. His wife of 36 years, Patricia J. Wilson, preceded him in death. He is survived by sons, John M. Wilson, of Corona, Calif.; Gerald R. Wilson, of Oak Hills, Calif.; granddaughters, Sandra K. Orwin, of Corona; Amy M. Wilson, of Aurora, Colo.; Brenda M. Wilson, of Oak Hills; grandsons, Clinton R. Wilson, of Mission Viejo, Calif.; Andrew D. Wilson, of Sierra Madre Calif.; three step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren. A service will be held at Parker Funeral Home, May 22, at 3:30 p.m., internment at Parker Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the American Heart Association at www.americanheart.org.
