BROWN, George K.

20 February 1921 - 19 January 2004

George K. Brown, 82, entered into rest on January 19, 2004. 

George is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley; his sons, Ross (Julie), Bruce (Terri), Craig (Susan), Kyle (Lori); and 10 grandchildren. 

George proudly served his country in the US Army and was a WWII Veteran. He was a Boy Scout Troop Master. George was a Valley Educator for 30 years and he headed the English Department for Maryvale High School. 

George will be truly missed by his family and friends. Visitation was held on Friday, January 23, 2004 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. Memorial Service was held at West Congregational Church at 4650 W. Thomas Ave., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's name can be made to any church or charity of your choice.
