Catherine Dale Saunders (Cathi), 54, (the former Catherine Dale Pourchot) of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away on January 16, 2004. 

She was born March 26, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ, daughter of Emily and Truman Pourchot, both deceased. 

She is survived by her husband Virgil William (Bill) Saunders, 2 daughters Kemberly Tucker of Glendale, AZ, Valerie (Jeff) Franklin of Holyoke, Colorado, 2 step-sons Dan, of Scottsdale, AZ and Clint (Niki) Saunders of Chandler, AZ. 11 grandchildren, Ashly, Machaela and Whitney Tucker, Jonathan, Justin Bueno, Joey and Jeremy Franklin, Marshall Walker, Cody, Megan and Matthew Saunders, 2 sisters, Anne (Dee) Jensen of Mesa, AZ and Sherri Pourchot of Glendale, AZ. 

Cathi was a true Arizona native. We will miss her deeply. Private services have been held.
