DILL, Allen Frederick

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, December 29, 2010 Allen Frederick Dill, 87, of Flagstaff, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010. Mr. Dill was born May 26, 1923, to Henry and Mabel Pease Dill in Brooklyn, N.Y. Cmdr. Allen F. Dill, CEC, USNR received his B.S. degree in civil engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., in 1946, his M.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1950, and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Illinois in 1963. As a second career, he taught civil engineering at Northern Arizona University. Mr. Dill is survived by his wife Barbara; and three children, Dianne Schupp, Ronald Dill and John Dill. A memorial service in his honor will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Peaks, 3150 N. Winding Brook Road. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.norvel owensmortuary.com.
