Jacob "Jake" Boden Brookins, 75, died on the solstice, Dec. 21, 2010. He was born Aug. 28, 1935.

Mr. Brookins is survived by his wife, Jean Libby Brookins; his children, Cynthia Brookins, Robert Brookins, Natalie Brookins, Andrea Little, Laksar Eggleton and Colin Eggleton; and his sisters, Connie DeMile and Effie Bumbaca.

In his memory, friends and family may wish to visit his retrospective art exhibit at the Museum of Northern Arizona, open until March 27, to be with his spirit and creative energy.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The ALS Association Arizona Chapter or to the Museum of Northern Arizona.
