STADTFELD, Ervin James

Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published Thursday, April 22, 2010 - Ervin James Stadtfeld was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Remus, Mich. He passed away on April 9, 2010, in Del Rio, as an in-patient of Hospice, Sun City, Ariz. Ervin attended schools in Remus, Mich., graduating in 1948. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorable discharged in 1948. He was with Operating Engineers, Local 324, in Michigan for 30 years. He moved to make his home in Quartzsite, Ariz., in 2005. He always enjoyed being in the desert on his ATV, riding with his friends. He made his home there with his wife of 15 years, Arthel (Bea) Stadtfeld. He is survived by Arthel; three sons, George (Elaine) Stadtfeld, Steve (Rachel) Stadtfeld, Dan (Jean) Stadfeld, all of North Carolina; two stepsons, Larry Beebe, of New York and Rick Beebe, of California; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Stadtfeld requests a donation be made to Hospice of Arizona, Del Rio, 12740 Del Rio Blvd., Sun City, AZ
