Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published Thursday, April 22, 2010 - Arthur Jay Flam Jr., passed away on Monday, April 5, 20l0 in Parker, Ariz.. at the age of 38. He was born on May l5, 1971 in Phoenix, AZ; to Arthur Flam Sr. and his wife Sue (Pirtle) Flam. Arthur comes from a long line of native Arizonan's, his family coming to this area in 1859. He lived in Phoenix until the 4th grade, and then his family moved to Salome, where he completed grade school. The Flam family then moved to Parker 23 years ago and Arthur attended and graduated from Parker High School. Following high school, Arthur went to work in the family petroleum business as a truck driver for 20 years. His family said Arthur was always helpful, was a good brother and son and a loving father and grandfather. Arthur is survived by his parents, Arthur and Sue Flam Sr., of Parker; son, Adam Flam of Texas; daughters, Ashley Flam of Minnesota, Erica Flam of Parker; Aaron Flam of Minnesota, and Diamond Flam of Texas; sister Michelle Davis and her husband Bart of Salome, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Isaac and Kevin Hill.
