Richard W. Cashin, 65, died at his winter residence in Lake Havasu City Monday, dec. 24, 2007. He was born Aug. 4, 1942, in Irvington, N.J. to Pearl and Leonard Cashin.
Richard spent a great deal of his life in Southern Florida where he met his wife, Lois. They moved to Jackson Hole, Wyo., in 1984. He started spending winters in Lake Havasu City in 1999 and worked at the London Bridge Resort doing landscaping.
Richard spent the last six summers working in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. He loved working in the park and being so close to nature and the beauty of it. He also loved fishing, hiking, camping and traveling with his wife.
Richard is survived by his wife, Lois; son, Robert Cashin, of Enterprise, Ala.; daughter, Elizabeth (Darrell) Hammond, of New York, N.Y.; brother, Leonard (Donna) Cashin, of Sevierville, Tenn.; sister, Patricia (Russell) Steele, of The Woodlands, Texas; three loving grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Pearl (Cohn) Cashin and father, Leonard Warren Cashin.
