HARRIS, Charlyne Myree

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, December 29, 2010 Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Charlyne Myree Harris, age 57, a long time resident of Arizona went home to be with the Lord Dec. 19, 2010. She was born April 1, 1953 the third child of Paul and Frances Pierce with brothers Robert, Donald, and Johnny. At the age of 18, Charlyne graduated from Brea-Olinda High Class of 1971. At the age of 19, she married Lyle Rychlik, and was blessed with a daughter, Michelle “Shelly,” and a son, John. In 1976 she began the period in her life as a single mother, but with great regret leaving her son John with his father. After four years she met Richard Prochaska and was blessed again with a son, Scott. Richard’s unfortunate death before Scott’s birth made her a single mother again. Her strong will made her a great mother to her children, which was her only priority. She found a love in writing children’s stories which her children will always cherish. In February of 1986 she met and fell deeply in love with Joseph Charles Harris. They married, and a couple of years later were blessed again with a son Charles “Joey.” Joseph and Charlyne have enjoyed each others love for what would have been 25 years in February. Charlyne was well known for her perfection in her home care, love of her family, and her maticulous beauty. She and Joseph enjoyed many years of child raising. She loved watching her children play sports and assisting with Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts when she could. She had a passion for flowers and her pets once all the children had grown. Her greatest gift to her family was her unconditional love and the endless love notes she would write. The last five years of life were her hardest due to illness and was made bearable only by the tender love and care she received from her beloved husband Joseph. Charlyne is survived by her adored and loving husband, Joseph Charles Harris of Drippings Springs, Ariz.; daughter, Michelle (Matt) Provence of Mesa Ariz., with grandchildren Amanda and Michael; son, John (Charla) Rychlik of Reno Nev., with grandchildren Kaitlyn, Chase and Garrett; son, Scott (Teresa) Pierce of Huachuca City, Ariz., with grandchildren Dakota, Wyatt, and expecting one more in June; and son, Joey (Casey) Harris of Fresno, Calif., with grandchild Joseph.
