Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Wednesday, December 19, 2007 - Howard Russell Griffiths, 88, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, in Kingman. He was born March 15, 1919, to John Griffiths and Martha Kemp in Detroit, Mich. Howard served his country in the United States Army as a Medic. He was a past member of the Toastmasters Club. Howard enjoyed going to church and speaking in public. He enjoyed golfing, cards and board games with friends. Howard is survived by his wife of seven years, Wilma (Dalton) White Griffiths; son, John Griffiths; stepsons, Kris White, Ron White, Phil White; six step grandchildren and numerous friends and family members. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Violet Griffiths and a daughter. Funeral services for Howard will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Officiating the services will be Pastors Hartwig and Wuebben. A private burial will follow.
