Gausewitz, 86, of Wausau, Wis., passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2007 at his home. Herbert was a veteran of WWII serving as a medic in the U.S. Army Infantry. He managed U.S. Plywood and International Papers, Grand Rapids, Mich., before retiring in 1976. On January 19, 1985, Herbert married Marjorie (Kuethe) Frank in Libertyville, Ill. Herbert and Marjorie enjoyed traveling and spending time in their winter home in Lake Havasu City. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, of Wausau; a son, Peter, of Belmont, Mich.; a daughter, Sally Berry, of Lansing, Mich.; three step sons, Carl Frank, of Desert Hills, Calif., Glen (Patricia) Frank, of Gurnee, Ill, James (Patricia) Frank, of Waukegan, Ill, and four step grandchildren.
