SLOSSER, Ernest Clair

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona October 6, 2007 Ernest Clair Slosser, 99, passed away Oct. 3, 2007, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born Sept. 13, 1908, in Pinedale, Arizona Territory, to Dolph and Nellie Slosser. He was the principal of Washington School in Prescott for 22 years and retired in 1974. His 40 year career in education began in Zeniff (Ariz). He was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed astronomy as a hobby. His wife of 52 years, Geneva, preceded him in death in 1986. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey, of Vernon, Texas, and Brooke, of Prescott Valley; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. No services are planned. Information provided by survivors.
