The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 7, 2008 Rita W. Clark, 86, died Feb. 29, 2008 in Vernon. She was born in Tucson July 29, 1921. Rita retired from Mountain Bell as a telephone operator. Her entire life was dedicated to helping animals and making sure every pet was spayed and neutered. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son. Rita is survived by her friends, Laurie Exline and Cynthia DuBois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pet Allies, P.O. Box 415, Show Low, AZ 85902 in Rita's name. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements.
